Associate Director in the TVO corporate team, with a wide range of corporate experience, specialising in complex cross-border M&A and joint ventures for private companies, private equity sponsors and other asset management clients.

Lesley has a wide range of corporate experience including acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, investments and reorganisations across a variety of sectors, including Financial Services, Tech, Media and Comms, The Built Environment, and Energy and Utilities.

She specialises in M&A and joint ventures for private equity sponsors and asset management clients, but also acts for a variety of other clients, including financial institutions, large corporates and early stage companies. Lesley has extensive experience in leading and managing teams on large, complex, cross-border transactions. She spent four years working in Hong Kong where she focused on cross-border M&A and joint ventures in emerging markets, and has completed secondments to a global bank and to a real estate investment manager.

Prior to joining Osborne Clarke Lesley worked for Simmons & Simmons LLP in London, and prior to starting her career as a lawyer she completed a degree in French and German at Cambridge University.

Advised Brookfield Asset Management on several matters including the disposal of a 30% stake in Peterborough Hospital, a UK health PFI Project, to John Laing Infrastructure.

Orion Resource Partners

Advised Orion Resource Partners on various matters including its partnership with Fusion Capital AG and the acquisition and subsequent disposal of mining assets.

Advised GIC, Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund, on several matters including its investment in Rothesay Life Ltd and its joint venture arrangements with co-owners Blackstone and Goldman Sachs.

Advised Macquarie Capital as financial investor on a UK solar investment structure delivering 100% funding to a developer to facilitate accelerated portfolio accumulation.

Advised JPMorgan as financial adviser to China Merchant Bank on its US$4.66bn takeover of Wing Lung Bank.
