Lena Pannecke

Lena Pannecke advises national and international clients in the media and software sector on IT law, with a focus on digital and platform regulation, IT contracts, e-commerce as well as data protection.
Her practice is centred around assisting clients in navigating the complexities of digital business models and ensuring compliance with evolving legal standards. She offers strategic advice, particularly in light of the European legal developments in the digital regulation sector. Lena assisted several clients with the implementation of the EU Digital Services Act. Her expertise spans various industries and sectors, including retail, software or digital media.
Lena has in-depth in-house experience. During her career, she has been seconded to two market-leading tech companies in Europe.
Lena studied law in Bonn and Helsinki. Before joining Osborne Clarke in Berlin she was an associate at an international law firm with a particular focus on advising clients in the Nordics. During her legal training, she clerked inter alia at the Berlin data protection authority and a tech company in Sweden.
Understanding the intricacies of each business allows me to offer strategic yet pragmatic and actionable guidance that fosters innovation while maintaining regulatory compliance. I enjoy collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to find solutions that recognise the idea behind the business and also ensure compliance with both existing and upcoming regulations.
