Maximilian Orthmann is a lawyer in the Banking and Capital Markets practice group. He advises international banks and companies on debt financing transactions as well as payment transaction law.

He advises German and international financial institutions, investors, companies, borrowers and lenders on lending, acquisition finance, and sales of financed projects.

In addition, his practice includes advising banks, financial institutions, payment service providers and FinTechs, in particular in the areas of payment regulatory requirements, payment transaction law, banking law and payment supervision law.

Maximilian studied in Bonn where he also obtained his doctorate and completed his legal clerkship in Cologne. He joined Osborne Clarke as a lawyer in 2023.
