David is a Senior Knowledge Lawyer in our Financial Institutions Group. He has spent most of his career specialising in investment funds and asset management.

Prior to joining Osborne Clarke, David practiced in the Financial Services Regulation team of a leading US firm in London. He also has considerable public sector experience having worked for two financial regulators exclusively with investment funds and asset management in policy, GCD and supervision.

David has extensive knowledge in financial regulation with a main focus on the application of FSMA 2000, AIFMD, MiFID II, UCITS. He has expertise in ESG-related matters impact investment funds, and has advised on regulatory issues affecting clients such as fund managers, investment firms, venture capital and depositaries.

David studied at King's College London, the University of Copenhagen and Duke University. He is dual-qualified as an English solicitor and Danish lawyer (Danish license currently deposited).
