Catherine Shepherd

Catherine is an experienced Knowledge Lawyer Director delivering Knowledge to both clients and Osborne Clarke Lawyers in the UK and internationally. Catherine's key focus is on developing Knowledge products to assist clients in addressing new workplace developments and planning for new ways of working and the risks and adaptions this gives rise to.
Catherine has expertise in supporting clients preparing for the future of work including the legal and practical issues raised by developments around AI, how employers can address the needs of an ageing workforce, managing hybrid and flexible working arrangements, managing and supporting employee wellbeing and mental health and performance management of remote workers. Catherine works closely with her international colleagues to provide a global perspective on key issues for our clients.
I have a particular interest in helping clients upskill their HR and management teams particularly around understanding and resolve workplace conflict and managing the practical implementation of new employment laws and workplace guidance. We continually look at new ways of delivering our support with a specific focus on the use of technology.
I also enjoy working with clients in supporting their provision of a diverse and inclusive work environment, which is accessible and supportive for all employees, including the recruitment and retention of both younger and older workers, neurodiverse talent and those with disabilities and other health conditions.
