Alexander supports national and international companies, in particular US corporations, with all issues relating to German individual and collective labour and employment law. He is a core member of our International Employment Group, International Transactions Group and national HR Business Transformation Group. 

Alexander advises in-house counsel and HR/CHROs on the development and implementation of digital HR solutions for the future of work. This includes complex remuneration structures, working time regimes as well as the implementation of Artificial Intelligence in the workplace. He helps clients conclude works agreements with the works council and supports them in proceedings before conciliation boards. 

Clients value Alexander’s pragmatic approach to restructurings, carve-outs, mergers, TUPEs and staff reduction measures, including in connection with M&A transactions. He advises in relation to operational and corporate co-determination. 

Additionally, Alexander has a high level of expertise in supporting time-critical internal investigations and subsequent litigation. He develops strategies to deal with low performers in the workplace. Shareholders and board members trust him in business-critical separation negotiations with C-level employees and managing directors.

Alexander is a lecturer delivering advanced training courses for specialist labour lawyers, holds seminars and webinars for industry associations and trains HR business partners. He specialises in the Tech, Media and Telecommunication (TMT) sectors and has in-depth industry knowledge in the gaming and esports sector. 

Alexander lived in Zimbabwe during his school years, and worked for lawyers in Belfast, Cologne, Istanbul and South Africa during university studies and legal traineeship. His international approach has steadily developed, and he successfully supported our US clients from our New York office between 2022 and 2024.
