FinTech GC Community: Funding Challenges for FinTechs

The FinTech GC Community sessions are a series of roundtable events for the General Counsel, Heads of Legal and Heads of Compliance of FinTechs. Previous attendees have included senior members of the legal and compliance teams of many of the UK's leading FinTechs. 

The hour long sessions are run with small groups of select, senior in-house lawyers from FinTechs to encourage group discussion. Our aim is to create an environment where no question feels too silly to ask and attendees feel free to share how they are dealing with certain issues in their business.

We will cover the current market for funding, what to do if there are concerns around funding or liquidity and best practice even where there are no such concerns. Led by an expert team who have significant experience of advising on the funding of FinTechs and insolvencies and distress scenarios (including the solvent wind-down of Wirecard Card Solutions in the UK).
