Data-driven business models: the role of legal teams in delivering success

With 62% of businesses surveyed across Europe offering data-driven products or services, and a further 27% planning to do so in the near future, is your business leading the way or lagging behind?

Data-driven business models (DDBMs) are central to the worldwide digital economy and an increasing number of organisations have utilised them within their businesses. However, with accelerating digitalisation come increasing legal challenges.

Osborne Clarke has partnered with the European Company Lawyers Association (ECLA) to produce a report exploring the challenges and opportunities associated with new DDBMs. The detailed report includes results from a survey of over 400 general counsel across Europe and a range of industry sectors. In addition, the report will provide legal insight, inspiration and practical solutions for managing DDBMs.

Join us for our report launch event where we will hear from a fantastic range of experts, in what promises to be a lively and thought-provoking discussion:

  • Our keynote speaker: Jan Wittrodt, Head of Privacy & Technology Law and Privacy Governance at Zalando;
  • Marcus M. Schmitt, General Manager at ECLA;
