Osborne Clarke advises Canaccord Genuity on eEnergy Group's proposed capital raising

Published on 2 October 2026

International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised Canaccord Genuity Limited, acting as sole bookrunner, on the proposed placing, subscription and retail offer of up to £6.3 million by eEnergy Group plc, the net zero energy services provider.

The capital raising is subject to shareholder approval at a general meeting, with admission of the new ordinary shares to trading on AIM expected to occur on 26 October 2026. The capital raising is intended to address eEnergy Group’s short-term working capital requirements, bring overdue creditors back within normal payment terms and strengthen the balance sheet while eEnergy Group addresses its project documentation issues to then collect £2.8 million of outstanding cash relating to the DofE programme.

Osborne Clarke’s Corporate team advises UK and international clients across the full spectrum of corporate transactions, including M&A, private equity, joint ventures and restructurings. This transaction highlights the team’s strong track record of delivering time‑critical capital raisings through complex AIM equity capital markets deals.

The Osborne Clarke team was led by partner Jonathan King, supported by associate director Stuart Miller (Corporate).
