François-Régis Fabre-Falret joins Osborne Clarke's Real Estate team, with counsel Julia Gaspard, bringing the team to two partners and five associates.

With over 20 years' experience in leading law firms, François-Régis is involved in complex real estate investment transactions. As such, he assists French and foreign clients - such as asset managers, pension funds and major end users - in setting up partnerships, acquiring or disposing of built or planned properties (sales in the future state of completion), acquiring or disposing of companies with a majority of real estate assets, as well as in development operations.

His practice is therefore highly complementary to that of Stéphane Catays, who founded Osborne Clarke's Real Estate team in Paris, and works more specifically for major users, particularly in lease matters.

Attentive to all aspects of innovation, François-Régis has taken a keen interest in recent years for the impact of digitalization and, more specifically, tokenization in the real estate sector. In 2022, he coordinated the production of a report on this topic.

Joining Osborne Clarke was an obvious step for François-Régis, attracted by the entrepreneurial spirit of the Paris team and the opportunities offered by Osborne Clarke's international network. Indeed, the firm's Real Estate practice represents a well integrated and particularly promising global European offering.

"I was immediately drawn to Osborne Clarke's entrepreneurial dynamism. The partners are driven by a shared commitment to working and building together. We have already identified a number of complementarities and synergies, particularly in urban planning, corporate and regulatory affairs. Osborne Clarke's strong focus on digital issues and players is another particularly attractive factor for me, as it is essential today to be able to support the digital transformation of the real estate sector."

François-Régis Fabre Falret, Partner, Real Estate

Catherine Olive, co-managing partner of Osborne Clarke, comments: "The arrival of François-Régis reflects the strong dynamism of Osborne Clarke in Paris as we celebrate our 10th anniversary this year. He is a recognized real estate investment professional and a real asset to our team led by Stéphane Catays. We welcome his arrival !”

Maxime Pigeon, also co-managing partner, adds: "François-Régis and Stéphane share a mutual vision of our business, guided by pragmatism and innovation. It's a core approach that has been at the heart of Osborne Clarke since the firm was launched in Paris 10 years ago. We're delighted to have François-Régis on board!
