Osborne Clarke has again advised Warburg Pincus and Hollyport Capital on a EUR 20m financing round of McMakler. Osborne Clarke also advised the two investors in the 2022 financing round of EUR 50m.

The lead investor, alongside Warburg Pincus, is once again one of the leading global tech investors Baillie Gifford, alongside other existing investors and McMakler's founder and CEO Felix Jahn. Warburg Pincus, LLC, is a US private equity firm based in New York City that manages more than USD 95 billion of private equity and was also the lead investor in McMakler's previous financing rounds in December 2020 and January 2022, on which Osborne Clarke advised.

Hollyport Capital is a specialist secondaries investor based in London and New York with USD 5 billion in assets under management. Founded in 2006 and currently investing its eighth fund, the firm focuses on the acquisition of legacy private equity assets in the secondary market.
