International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised Thomas Toporowicz, founder of outdoor advertising group IT WORKS GmbH, on an investment by AFINUM Achte Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG. IT WORKS will use the investment to accelerate growth and expand its service portfolio in the areas of geo-marketing, data analytics and digital solutions.
IT WORKS is an independent leading service provider for outdoor advertising. The company focuses on consulting, optimization and implementation of public media campaigns.
AFINUM is one of the leading mid-market investors in German speaking Europe. Since it was founded in 2000, AFINUM has invested in around 60 companies.
An Osborne Clarke team led by Corporate Partner Philip Meichssner has advised Thomas Toporowicz on the transaction. The team also included Dr Nanni Spitzer, Dr Stephanie Zajicek (all Corporate), Anne Gebel (Insolvency law), Juliane Reuter (Employment law) and Sebastian Hack (Competition law).
