Osborne Clarke advised BrianzAcque on the €45 million loan granted by the EIB

The European Investment Bank (EIB) has granted a €45 million loan to BrianzAcque, the public integrated water service company for the province of Monza and Brianza, to support its investment programme for the period 2025-2029.

The EIB loan, structured as a Green Loan and supported by InvestEU, will help improve the quality of water services, prevent flooding and make infrastructure more resilient to extreme weather events.

Osborne Clarke assisted BrianzAcque S.r.l. in the negotiation and execution of the financing. The firm acted with a team led by partner Antonio Fugaldi, assisted by junior associate Ilaria Cutolo, for banking and finance law aspects, and with partner Giorgio Lezzi for public law aspects.
