Mirshad is an Associate in our Financial Institutions Group. He has experience advising retail banks, FinTechs and financial institutions, as well as point-of-sale lenders, retailers and non-traditional finance providers, on a wide range of financial services regulatory matters.

Mirshad has a particular focus on consumer finance and retail banking regulation. He regularly supports clients with the implementation of new product offerings, preparing customer terms and conditions, understanding the regulatory perimeter, and preparing FCA authorisation applications. He also regularly supports our transactional teams with the regulatory elements of commercial contracts and corporate transactions.

Mirshad studied Law at the University of Aberdeen, before studying for an LLM at the London School of Economics. He joined Osborne Clarke as a Trainee and qualified in September 2023.

Mirshad has prior experience working in various in-house legal teams, both inside and outside of financial services.
