

Matt is a corporate lawyer whose practice focuses primarily on renewable and conventional energy, utilities and infrastructure. Matt brings a particular focus on energy transition and decarbonisation.
His practice is centred on M&A and investment work, together with joint venture and equity arrangements for projects and project financings.
Matt has more than a decade of experience in M&A, from the UK mid-market through to premium cross-border transactions. He advises clients on the corporate lifecycle of greenfield energy projects as well as the energy transition across a range of technologies, including carbon capture and storage, offshore wind and respective supply chains, together with solar energy and battery storage projects.
In addition to energy, Matt also brings experience in the TMC sector having worked on deals with media, advertising and sports clients, agents and investors.
Matt's practice is underpinned by a broad grounding in more generalist M&A, private equity, venture capital and investment work. He is well versed in advising clients investing across the capital stack in both emerging and established technology classes in energy and beyond.
