Julia Peters advises companies and entrepreneurs in contentious disputes.

She represents her clients before both state courts and private arbitration tribunals and advises them in complex out-of-court negotiations. Julia has been involved in around 40 ad hoc arbitrations to date.

The substantive focus of her practice is on corporate disputes (including disputes in the course of liquidation of companies), disputes in the area of general civil and commercial law with a particular emphasis on advising supermarkets and discounters.

Another focus of her work is advising companies in the tourism industry, for example with regard to the drafting of contracts in the area of hotel purchasing, including general terms and conditions. She also represents these companies in disputes with service providers.

Julia studied law at the University of Cologne. During her legal traineeship, she worked for the Federal Ministry of Health in Bonn and other international commercial law firms in Cologne and New York. She was admitted to the bar in 2017 and has since worked at Osborne Clarke.
