Javier Varón

Javier joined Osborne Clarke in 2022, and his main area of work is tax law.

As a member of the tax team in Barcelona, Javier is involved in providing recurrent legal advice on tax matters to private clients and corporations. Additionally, he focuses on indirect taxation on domestic and cross-border transactions. In particular, he advises on corporate taxation for domestic and non-resident groups, value added tax, personal income tax and cross-border tax issues.

He studied at Pompeu Fabra University, Barcelona, graduating in Law in 2021, after completing part of his studies at the University of Texas at Austin (USA). In 2022, he obtained the Specialisation Master (LLM) in Tax Consultancy and Management from ESADE Law School (Barcelona).

Javier is a member of the Barcelona Bar Association.
