Javier Bau is a partner in our corporate department. He specialises in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), private equity, joint ventures, and corporate restructurings, both nationally and internationally. His practice includes a variety of sectors, with a special focus on life sciences, infrastructure, and financial services.

Javier advises private equity funds, multinational companies, family-owned groups, and listed companies on a regular basis. He participates in the entire transaction cycle, from initial structuring to completion and integration. He has led numerous relevant transactions in the Spanish and European markets, and is well known for his ability to combine technical rigor with a strategic and business-oriented view. 

Javier holds a degree and a master's degree in Law from ESADE – Universitat Ramón Llull. He has been a member of the Barcelona Bar Association since 2025.

In addition to his professional practice, he regularly collaborates with various educational institutions and technical publications.
