James is an Associate Director in Osborne Clarke’s corporate team.

James advises clients in the energy and mobility space on a broad range of transactional work, focusing particularly on mergers and acquisitions, cross-border and domestic disposals and joint ventures. James is focused on the decarbonisation agenda and works on transactions that support the decarbonisation of transport, low emissions mobility and renewable energy production.

In addition, James also advises on a range of general corporate and transactional matters.

James provided an excellent service. He was very client friendly, pragmatic and efficient. In negotiations he was firm when needed, but more impressive was his judgement as to when to let a point go (he was quick to appreciate when it was not of relevance to us).

Director, Cape Renewables

James qualified in 2014, having trained with a leading national law firm, and joined Osborne Clarke in the summer of 2015.

He has a law degree and masters from King’s College London.
