After graduating in Spain, Carlos moved to Italy in 1994 to attend specialisation courses at the University of Milan, graduating in 1997. He then completed his training with an MBA in Barcelona, thanks to a grant from the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Barcelona. Carlos joined Osborne Clarke in 1995 to strengthen and develop relations with Spain and Latin America.
Within Osborne Clarke’s Italian-Spanish team, he acts for many different clients, most of which are foreign companies forming part of major international groups. He is able to advise them directly in their own languages and, understanding their cultures and legal systems, can offer multidisciplinary quality and trust, adapted to their needs. He is also actively involved with the institutions of both Italy and Spain and regularly publishes in the journal of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Milan on investment opportunities and developments in legislation.
Carlos’ work is heavily focussed on the Life Sciences sector, and he has considerable experience in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements , clinical studies and clinical research agreements and in regulatory compliance programmes for Pharmaceuticals companies.
