Ian is head of Osborne Clarke’s international tax dispute practice with over 28 years experience across a range of tax issues, specialising in managing tax risk and tax disputes.

Ian represents clients from internet platforms to banks and national retailers in all the courts from the Tax Tribunal to the Supreme Court and Court of Justice of the European Union. Ian advises on disputes across all direct and indirect taxes and has a particular interest in the digital economy, regulatory compliance and cross-border tax issues.

Ian is also a CEDR qualified mediator and sits as a part time judge in the Tax Tribunal.
