Gereon Abendroth

Gereon drives the transformation of Osborne Clarke, with a particular focus on AI and technology, serving as a member of the German Management Board (as Chief Digital & Technology Officer) and Chair of the firm's global AI Management Board, where he is responsible for the firm's AI strategy.

In his role leading the Legal Transformation Group and Managing Director of OC Solutions, he oversees the development of award-winning Legal AI solutions — from AI-powered contract analysis and legal workflow automation to intelligent due diligence, regulatory compliance tools, and self-service AI solutions for clients.

Gereon successfully combines legal practice with in-depth technology and AI expertise, as well as extensive in-house and international experience. Over more than 12 years advising IT and technology companies on commercial and civil law matters, he has built comprehensive expertise in drafting and negotiating complex project contracts. 

He has also worked in-house in the mobile communications, renewable energy, and industrial technology sectors, giving him an exceptional understanding of legal operations from an internal perspective. 

This includes experience at Honeywell International's corporate headquarters in New Jersey, where he was structuring contract management processes and implementing technical support systems for the legal department.
