Dr Steffen Bulk
Steffen Bulk advises companies of all sizes, across all sectors and legal forms, on all matters relating to national and international tax law.
His practice focuses on corporate reorganisation and restructuring, as well as on tax planning and the implementation of tax-efficient structures.
Steffen studied law in Bayreuth and Bielefeld. Following his university studies, he undertook a four-year period of doctoral research; Steffen wrote his doctoral thesis on a topic relating to tax law on company conversions. During his studies and afterwards, Steffen gained valuable experience in tax law as a research assistant at Osborne Clarke in Cologne. Steffen then completed his two-year legal clerkship, which included placements at the Federal Ministry of Finance in Berlin, the Federal Constitutional Court in Karlsruhe and at Osborne Clarke in Cologne.
Since August 2026, Steffen has been working at Osborne Clarke’s Cologne office.
In addition, I also teach students at the Hagen Distance-Learning University in an area of public law relevant to the first state examination. This not only helps me to maintain a clear understanding of the current legal situation, but also means that the students constantly offer me fresh perspectives.
