Dr Adrian Deuschle advises clients in all areas of German and European competition law and merger control as well as on the Digital Markets Act (DMA).

He represents clients on all merger control and competition law proceedings before the German Federal Cartel Office, the European Commission and before the courts. He advises companies on cooperation and distribution contracts, cartel proceedings and litigation, as well as competition law compliance.

Adrian regularly publishes on antitrust and sports law topics and has particular sector-specific expertise in the areas of digital technology, retail and consumer goods, and sports. A particular focus of his work is advising companies at the interface of artificial intelligence and antitrust law, in particular on the antitrust-compliant design of Algorithms and AI systems.

He studied law at the University of Bayreuth and Seville. After completing his studies, he obtained his doctorate under Prof. Dr. Rupprecht Podszun in Düsseldorf on Pricing Algorithms in Antitrust Law and earned an LL.M. in Brussels/Liège. During his legal traineeship at the Higher Regional Court of Cologne he specialized on competition law with stages at Osborne Clarke as well as another international law firm.
