Former international rugby player David is an Associate in the Projects team at Osborne Clarke, specialising in the Energy & Utilities sector.

Since qualifying in 2016, David has gained significant experience in advising a range of project participants (funders, sponsors and contractors) in relation to solar PV, onshore and offshore wind, battery storage and waste projects, as well as notable experience advising on secondary market transactions for infrastructure fund clients.

David’s experience includes advising clients on commercial and regulatory aspects of energy generation, management and consumption projects, including, specifically, a leading international engineering company in relation to the development of a portfolio of 50MW photovoltaic power plants (combined value $185m).

David also has significant international experience in PPP transactions, including advising the Kuwait Authority for Partnership Projects (KAPP) on its national PPP program across a range of sectors including waste water, waste to energy, solar, leisure, education and healthcare.
