Anna is a Partner within Osborne Clarke’s media team and also heads the Commercial team of lawyers within Osborne Clarke’s Reading office. She is an advertising, marketing and sponsorship specialist who is recognised in both Chambers & Partners and Legal500. Anna provides advice on a range of advertising, AdTech, commercial and intellectual property issues to a number of well-known brand owners and agency clients within the advertising, digital, retail and media sectors.

Anna regularly advises on a variety of issues concerning marketing and sponsorship activities, including the negotiation of client/agency agreements, talent agreements and sponsorship agreements.  She also advises her clients on all aspects of intellectual property, promotions, digital marketing and AdTech as well as clearance, brand exploitation and general commercial contracts relevant to the advertising ecosystem and major collaboration agreements between different brands.

Before joining the Osborne Clarke media team in 2004, Anna was an in-house lawyer for Vodafone Group Services Ltd.  Her role required her to advise the Vodafone group companies on a range of intellectual property and commercial matters both on a local and global scale. She provided advice in relation to Vodafone’s corporate sponsorship activities, advertising campaigns, joint collaborations with other companies, music and content related activities, and the exploitation and protection of the brand.

Anna is a regular contributor to Osborne Clarke’s marketinglaw blog and speaker at conferences that focus on advertising and sponsorship issues and issues affecting the media sector. Anna was previously a member of the Direct Marketing Association’s Mobile Marketing Council and assisted with the creation of the DMA’s best practice guidelines for mobile marketing from a legal perspective.
