A much-anticipated High Court judgment on a dispute about copyright in data used to train artificial intelligence is imminent. Our Insight looks at the principal issues raised in the case, and what its impact may be, and our Dipping into Data webinar later this month will explore what the judgment says about the intersection of intellectual property rights with AI.

Next month will see the Labour government's second Budget. Our tax experts predict the likely areas for reform in real estate, business and personal tax, and other possible announcements.

Keeping on top of digital regulation is a must for all businesses, with particular implications for those in the online retail sector. Our Retail Lab event in our London office, in collaboration with the eCommerce Forum, will explore consumer law developments in relation to subscription models, invitations to purchase and consumer reviews, how to mitigate risk in tech supply contracts, and at agentic AI governance measures. Our digital regulation webinar will look more broadly at what is happening in the EU and UK, including recent regulatory enforcement activity, and, in November, our data series will cover cyber security and the impact of AI.
