Osborne Clarke advises Picqer founders on sale to Katapull

Published on 12 October 2026

Osborne Clarke Netherlands has advised Casper Bakker and Stephan Groen, founders and CEOs of Picqer, on the sale of Logict B.V. and its subsidiary Picqer B.V. to Katapull (EntraCommerce B.V.), a Rotterdam-based commerce platform backed by NedVest.

The transaction brings together Picqer, a leading Dutch provider of warehouse management software (WMS) for growing e-commerce businesses, and Katapull’s Commerce Hub, expanding the platform’s offering with dedicated software for warehouse operations, order processing and stock management.

Supporting the next stage of Picqer’s growth

Founded in 2012 by Casper Bakker and Stephan Groen, Picqer has built a strong reputation in the Dutch e-commerce market. Its software supports the full warehouse workflow, from purchasing and receiving goods to inventory management, picking and shipping, and connects with the webshops and carriers its customers use every day.

Known for its ease of use, Picqer serves both e-commerce businesses managing their own warehouses and fulfilment operators handling warehouse operations for multiple clients.

Katapull’s Commerce Hub brings together specialised software businesses covering different parts of the operational e-commerce chain, including DeliveryMatch, EffectConnect, Highbiza, Logic4, Returnista, Transus and Vendit. Together, these businesses provide access to connected tools spanning enterprise resource planning (ERP), logistics, marketplace management and electronic data interchange (EDI).

The addition of Picqer introduces dedicated warehouse management software to the Commerce Hub, extending its coverage of the e-commerce chain from stock management through to picking and shipping. Both businesses serve a similar mid-market customer base, and the transaction gives existing Katapull customers access to more extensive WMS functionality as their warehouse requirements grow.

Picqer will continue to operate under its own name, with its existing team remaining in place to lead the business day to day.
