Osborne Clarke secures Tier 1 TMT ranking and climbs in Media: Video Games category in Legal 500 UK 2027

International legal practice Osborne Clarke has once again been recognised in the Legal 500 guide, performing strongly across its core sectors and the range of transactions, regulatory and disputes capabilities for which it is well-known. The firm has received particular recognition for its TMT capabilities – from the services it delivers the sector such as corporate, real estate and disputes, through to highly specialised work it does in areas including fintech, video games, digital content and retail.

In this year's guide, the firm is ranked in 87 practice areas (27 of which are Tier 1) and has achieved 116 individual rankings, including seven Hall of Fame, 55 Leading Partners, 24 Next Generation Partners and 22 Leading Associates.

Highlights include:

• In the Sectors category, maintaining 15 rankings (five in Tier 1), with improved positions in Financial Services: Non-contentious Regulatory, Media: Video Games, and Industry Focus – TMT, which is now recognised in Tier 1.
• Strong performance across Osborne Clarke’s key practice groups – Corporate and Commercial, Advisory, Projects, Real Estate and Finance, and Disputes & Risk – reflecting the firm’s depth of expertise across its chosen sectors and service lines.
• In Corporate and Commercial, maintaining 18 practice area rankings (five in Tier 1) and 15 individual rankings, alongside five new individual listings and further promotions at Next Generation Partner level.
• Within Advisory, achieving 14 practice area rankings (including four Tier 1 and one increased ranking), and 19 individual rankings, including three improved rankings across Employment, Competition and Tax.
• In the Projects, Real Estate and Finance group, securing 14 practice area rankings (six in Tier 1) and 23 individual rankings, with four lawyers moving up the tables in Environment, Energy and Projects and Real Estate.
• In Disputes & Risk, maintaining rankings in 21 practice areas, including seven Tier 1 rankings in key areas such as commercial litigation, health and safety, intellectual property, property litigation and insolvency, supported by increases for six individuals. 

These results are a strong endorsement of the skill, dedication and client focus of our people.
