Osborne Clarke advised Unieco Società Cooperativa in liquidazione coatta amministrativa, receivership, in the sale of its environmental division.  The division includes the company Unieco Holding Ambiente together with other subsidiary and affiliated companies operating in the waste sector in 5 Italian Regions: Piedmont, Emilia Romagna, Marche, Tuscany and Puglia.

Osborne Clarke assisted Unieco from the outset in the structuring of the competitive bid procedure, in coordination and with the authorisation of the Italian Ministry for Economic Development (MISE). The team was led by partner Giovanni Penzo, with  associates Ludovica Venafro, Federica Fischetti and Maurizio Zonca, and trainee Carolina Scolari.
