Osborne Clarke Germany increases revenue by 17% to EUR 93 million in 2024

Osborne Clarke Germany looks back on a successful financial year: The international legal practice, with its more than 270 fee earners, increased its revenue in 2024 by around 17% to approximately EUR 93.5 million; the legal practice also achieved revenue per professional (RPP) of more than EUR 400,000 for the first time.
Internationally, Osborne Clarke achieved revenue of EUR 547.5 million in the 2024/25 financial year; representing an increase of 4% over the previous year; in the 2024 calendar year, revenue growth was 11%, contributing to revenue growth of 72% over the last five years. Omar Al-Nuaimi, International CEO of Osborne Clarke: “Growing our international revenue to EUR 547.5m is a great achievement and a testament to the hard work of our teams around the world. This year, we're investing heavily in creating a seamless client experience by implementing a new international practice management and finance system. This sets us up brilliantly to support planned significant growth over the coming five-year strategic period.”
The legal practice 2024 also grew in terms of personnel: Lene Kohl (Disputes & Risk), Robert Briske (IP), Thies Goldner (Energy) and Tobias Rothkegel (IT) were promoted to Partners from within the firm's own ranks. In addition, a total of nine Senior Associates were appointed as Counsels: Duncan Gorst (Disputes & Risk), Enno Dreier (Corporate / M&A), Felix Jaeger (Energy M&A), Dr Florian Eisenmenger (IT), Jan Herrmann (Banking & Capital Markets), Marco Aatz (Commercial / Competition), Nils Wiehmann (Employment), Robert Marx (Corporate / VC) and Dr Stephan Reisner (IP / Patent Law).
Osborne Clarke also strengthened its team with Dr Martin Geipel from Noerr to further expand its Energy practice group in Berlin and with Dr Florian Reiling from Clifford Chance in the area of pharmaceutical and biotech licensing law.
Two other highlights of the 2024 financial year included winning the JUVE Awards 2024 as Law Firm of the Year for Technology and Media and the establishment of a central unit for legal project management with Dr Lisa Hamelmann from Hausfeld.
