International legal practice Osborne Clarke continues to invest in the US market to maintain its leadership position as a specialist law firm helping clients navigate change and succeed in tomorrow's world. After being in the US for more than 22 years, the firm has accelerated its investment over the last 18 months by more than doubling its team on the ground and will be moving its New York premises in 2023 to accommodate this expansion. 

As a further sign of the firm's ongoing approach to bringing deep international expertise closer to its US client base, former UK Managing Partner, Ray Berg, announces he plans to join the US Team taking up a senior business development role in San Francisco in early 2023. He will work closely with the team to develop opportunities and manage relationships with US clients and deepen relationships with key intermediaries.

A corporate lawyer for more than 30 years, Ray joined Osborne Clarke in 2001, became head of the Business Transactions Group in 2013 and in 2015 was elected UK Managing Partner. During his tenure, Ray was instrumental in delivering the firm's business strategy, which strives to bring meaningful change and better outcomes for the firm's clients, people, communities and business.
