Global Investment firm Carlyle has acquired a majority stake in Incubeta, an internationally recognized leader in digital marketing, and one of a select few globally certified Google Marketing Platform (GMP) partners.

International law firm Osborne Clarke advised the global management team of Incubeta in connection with the sale and the Incubeta management team's reinvestment into the business. The Osborne Clarke team, led by partner Russell van Praagh, comprised private equity lawyers Leanne Wright (associate director in the management advisory group) and associate Harry Stewart, assisted by trainee solicitor Aisling Farley. Associate director Lara Flynn provided employment advice.

Lars Lehne, Global CEO of Incubeta, said: "Working with the OC team made us feel guided, protected and supported every step of the way. It has been an absolute pleasure working with them."

Founded in 2004 and headquartered in London, UK, Incubeta has experienced significant growth over the past two decades, evolving into a team of more than 800 people across 22 locations worldwide. The acquisition will help accelerate Incubeta’s investments in its proprietary technology, sales and marketing efforts, and M&A-led market consolidation.

Osborne Clarke advises some of the best and brightest businesses across the marketing services sector. It is widely recognised for its corporate expertise in this dynamic market, and its track record advising on M&A deals across Europe and at every stage of company development across all corporate issues. The team is also a go-to practice for many companies in the tech, media & comms sector, working with global businesses to fast-growth start-ups and market challengers.
