Osborne Clarke advised Allgeier Enterprise Services AG on the acquisition of the shares in publicplan GmbH via a subsidiary of Allgeier Enterprise.

The acquisition is subject to antitrust approval and further closing conditions. The founder and managing director of publicplan GmbH, Dr. Christian Knebel remains a partner and will continue to hold a 20 percent stake in the company in the course of the acquisition.

Publicplan GmbH is an expert in the digitization of public administration and e-government, with a turnover of almost EUR 10 million and around 80 employees. The focus is on open source-based software solutions with a range of services from consulting and development to maintenance and servicing of software solutions, specially tailored to the needs of administration. With the acquisition of publicplan, Allgeier is further expanding its range of services for the digitization of public administration in the area of e-government.
