Osborne Clarke is admitting Susanne Kühlthau and Maximilian Vocke to the partnership with effect from 1 January 2023. The firm will then have a total of 67 partners at its four German offices in Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne and Munich.
“The current political and economic situation is changing the transaction environment. Both financial investors and institutional investors still have capital that needs to be invested. In addition, restructuring and market consolidation will increasingly drive the market in perspective,” says Carsten Schneider, Managing Partner of Osborne Clarke Germany. “Our Corporate/M&A practice already enjoys an excellent reputation for transactions and corporate advice in a transformation context and has increasingly come into play for complex and large projects. With the addition of Susanne Kühlthau and Maximilian Vocke to the partnership, with their focus on stock corporation and transformation law as well as transaction support, we are responding to the increased demand for advice around growth and transformation issues.”
Susanne Kühlthau has been a lawyer at Osborne Clarke in Munich since 2006. In her new position, she brings her extensive expertise in (European) stock corporation law and transformation law to the Corporate/M&A practice group. In particular, the national and cross-border restructuring/SE-structuring of employee-intensive companies in the Retail & Consumers sector is one of her specialities.
Maximilian Vocke joined Osborne Clarke's Berlin team in 2019. Being part of the Corporate practice group as well, his professional focus is on VC and tech M&A transactions, with a particular focus on PE/VC investors and corporate venture capital of mid-sized and large companies. In particular, the intensive international networking with Osborne Clarke VC teams in France, the Netherlands and the UK make his client work so successful.
