The Legal 500 EMEA ranks Osborne Clarke in eighty-six practice areas and recognises fifty-one individual lawyers

International law firm Osborne Clarke has secured a strong set of practice rankings across Europe in the Legal 500 EMEA 2026 directory, with solid results across its offices in Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland and Spain. This includes fifty-six rankings in the top three bands and three new practice rankings - Tax in Italy, Venture Capital in Spain and Healthcare and Life Sciences Transactions in Germany.
The Legal 500 rankings are based on extensive research and feedback from clients and peers, recognising law firms that deliver outstanding commercial insight and client service across jurisdictions and sectors.
The guide recognised fifty-one Osborne Clarke individuals, including two in the “Hall of Fame", Claire Bouchenard in France and Maria Grazia Medici in Italy. There were also twenty individuals recognised as "Leading Partners", up from eighteen in 2025, twelve as "Next Generation Partners", up from ten in 2025 and ten as "Leading Associates." These results demonstrate the increasing breadth and strength of our European bench and reflect Osborne Clarke's international legal expertise in markets fuelling growth and innovation across Europe.
Osborne Clarke's increased rankings include:
• Belgium: EU regulatory: pharma, medical devices and biotech, from three to two.
• Italy: Banking and finance: bank regulatory, from four to three.
• Poland: Banking and finance, from five to four.
• Germany: Industry focus - healthcare and life sciences, from three to two.
• Germany: Information technology - IT transactions and outsourcing, from two to one.
