Tim Taesler advises national and international companies on capital markets law and financial regulatory law. One of his focuses is regulatory advice regarding the use of distributed ledger technology in digital transformation of banking, financial services, investment products and payment transactions.

He specialises on advising on issues related to blockchain projects such as crypto securities, ICOs, crypto currencies and NFTs as well as alternative investments, such as investments funds and crowdfunding. 

Tim assists clients in the regulatory implementation of business models e.g. in BaFin proceedings.

Tim studied law in Berlin (Freie Universität) and Paris (Panthéon-Sorbonne, Assas). During his legal traineeship, he clerked at the German Federal Ministry of Finance and international law firms in Berlin. Before joining Osborne Clarke, Tim worked as a lawyer in capital markets for an international law firm.
