Rachel is an Associate Director in our real estate litigation team in Bristol.  Rachel is an experienced property litigator advising developers, energy and utilities companies, landowners and corporate occupiers on complex, high-value and business critical property matters.

Rachel has particular experience in advising a range of energy and utilities clients on all areas of property law and specific regulatory requirements under specialist statutory frameworks.  Rachel has experience in advising clients on major infrastructure projects, regulatory regime changes, and in particular matters under the new Electronic Communications Code.

Rachel also regularly advises developer clients on a range of real property issues including issues of restrictive covenants, rights of light, collaboration agreements, title issues, compulsory purchase considerations, landlord and tenant disputes, matters of dilapidations, unlawful occupation issues and general property management.

Prior to joining Osborne Clarke, Rachel has completed in-house secondments with both a national water utilities company and a large international retailer, giving her a strong insight into commercial drivers, risk management and internal decision-making.  She is known for delivering clear, practical and commercially focussed advice, even in technically demanding and fast moving environments.

Advised private clients with regards to a potential multi-million-pound right to light claim in respect of a large and widely reported development in central London.

Acting in High Court regarding a dispute under a collaboration agreement for multi-million-pound development land, and recently successfully defeating a summary judgment application (including a separate application to expedite the application), and being awarded costs.

Acting for large streaming company in respect of £10million asbestos claim.
