Phil is a Partner in our projects practice and specialises in construction and engineering procurement across a number of industry sectors.

He has experience in advising employers, funders, developers, contractors and sub-contractors on often highly complex projects. The projects he has worked on have spanned the PFI, PPP, leisure, retail, office, residential, industrial and renewables sectors.

He joined Osborne Clarke in 2002, after spending the early part of his career as a chartered quantity surveyor, working on site for Balfour Beatty Civil Engineering and Norwest Holst. Phil qualified as a lawyer in 2000 and has been a Partner at the firm since 2006.

He is an active participant in Osborne Clarke’s corporate responsibility programme, and sits on the Buildings Committee for the redevelopment of the Bristol Old Vic, delivering pro bono legal advice to the theatre group.

Phil Davies is fantastic and a very much valued partner to our business. We work extremely closely with Phil and his team and they are a crucial part of the success of each development we build. Phil creates relationships with all of our contracting businesses and can be relied upon to progress matters effectively and negotiate agreements in a timely manner."
