Peter Craddock

Peter is an award-winning lawyer, specialised in artificial intelligence, privacy and data protection and working for clients in the EU and beyond. 

Peter has over 15 years' experience helping companies to use data better, in particular in relation to privacy, data protection, data governance, AI governance, cybersecurity, e-commerce, digitalization and software contracting. He supports clients with strategic advice, contract drafting and negotiation, as well as representing them before EU and national data protection authorities or the courts. 

Having previously headed data, cyber and tech teams in international firms in Brussels, Peter is a trusted adviser and has recognised expertise in complex areas such online advertising, AdTech, and content personalization, as well as data-intensive operations such as credit scoring and anti-fraud profiling and digital marketing.

Additionally, Peter has a background as a software developer. This provides him with a keen understanding of client's technologies and enables him to legally assess clients' needs in a pragmatic and business-minded manner. He has advised clients on compliance with data protection and cybersecurity requirements for new and existing technologies, covering artificial intelligence (AI) to novel user identification techniques.
