Jennifer Beckmann advises national and international clients on insurance law, complex plant construction and logistics projects as well as on commercial law and dispute resolution.
Jennifer specialises in insurance law and advises national and international insurers and reinsurers, insurance intermediaries and insurants. Jennifer provides support in insurance law not only with regard to insurance coverage issues, but also on the liability side and in matters of claims settlement. Her expertise also includes consulting in complex plant construction and logistics projects and she has extensive experience in drafting contracts and representing clients in and out of court. Furthermore, Jennifer has comprehensive knowledge in product compliance law.
Jennifer joined Osborne Clarke as an attorney in June 2020 and has advised and negotiated several major projects in industrial and plant construction.
Jennifer is a lawyer and a wholesale and foreign trade merchant. She studied law in Hamburg and completed her legal clerkship in Hamburg and London, with internships at major international law firms. In addition, Jennifer has a Master's degree in insurance law.
I have a particular interest in decarbonization and renewable energies, especially in the wind energy sector and developments in the field of green hydrogen. Together with a group of colleagues, I am working on legal questions to support our clients in the area of renewable energies.
In the area of digitalization, I help companies to implement digitalization in their business and, in particular, to legally implement and secure unknown topics e.g in connection with the digitization of work processes by the design of contracts.
