Georgia is a Senior Associate in the Commercial and Regulatory Disputes team, specialising in health and safety and environmental crime.
Georgia advises and defends a broad range of clients across a number of sectors, including energy and utilities, real estate and infrastructure and transport and automotive.
She regularly acts for companies and individual directors on a range of criminal regulatory matters, including investigations/ prosecutions by the Health and Safety Executive, Environment Agency, the Fire Authority and other regulators. Georgia has represented clients in the Criminal courts, the Coroner’s court and in the employment tribunal (on appeals of enforcement notices). She has also acted for clients in respect of inquiries by the Traffic Commissioner.
Georgia has substantial experience in non-contentious work including, providing support on corporate transactions in relation to health and safety, environment and food law issues. She also regularly provides training sessions to clients and has written publications on a number of regulatory compliance issues, including Corporate Manslaughter, directors’ duties and crisis management.
Georgia qualified as lawyer in 2011 and joined Osborne Clarke in June 2015. She is on the committee of the Health and Safety Lawyers Association and is a member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health and the UK Environmental Law Association.
