Gavin Morgans
Gavin is an Associate Director in Osborne Clarke’s Real Estate team. He is a trusted adviser to PLC housebuilders and promoter clients, known for his pragmatic, commercially astute approach to residential and mixed‑use development across the full project lifecycle, from strategic land assembly and complex acquisitions through planning, delivery and exit.
He regularly advises PLC housebuilders on high‑value transactions and strategic land projects, structuring and negotiating documents such as conditional contracts, options, promotion agreements, collaboration and equalisation arrangements, overage, and phased disposals.
Gavin also leads land promotion opportunities for promoter clients, guiding projects from initial site identification to consent and disposal. He is adept at aligning promoter, landowner and housebuilder interests, negotiating robust promotion and consortium structures, and addressing infrastructure, planning and title issues to drive competitive sales of consented land.
Clients value Gavin’s responsiveness, market insight and ability to translate complex issues into practical strategies that drive certainty and results. He works seamlessly with colleagues across planning, construction, corporate and tax to provide cohesive, end‑to‑end support on the most demanding development mandates.
Working closely with our largest housebuilder and developer clients, I understand how pivotal these schemes are to their business plans, stakeholders and the communities they serve. Drawing on over twelve years of post qualification experience, I deliver pragmatic, commercially focused advice that anticipates risk and keeps projects moving. I am collaborative and decisive, partnering with clients and colleagues to align stakeholder interests and manage risk to deliver successful outcomes on complex, time‑critical schemes.
