Francesco's practice focuses on litigation and national and international arbitration.

He has gained experience in domestic and international arbitration proceedings, mainly under ICC and SCC rules, relating to cross border, high value disputes concerning complex construction and supply contracts in sectors such as energy, infrastructure and distribution. He also advises on disputes concerning the civil law of contracts and obligations, with a particular focus on issues arising from financial mis selling cases; finally, he handles disputes involving shareholders and management and control bodies, as well as disputes relating to M&A and investment transactions and, more generally, corporate law matters (liability actions against directors, statutory auditors and external auditors; actions for the annulment of shareholders’ and board resolutions).

In March 2023 he completed a research doctorate in civil law at the University of Pavia, with a thesis focused on the liability of the financial intermediary.
