Emma is a Associate Director in Osborne Clarke’s Real Estate team in London.

Emma advises clients on a range of real estate transactions, with a focus on residential development, regeneration and build to rent. Her clients include listed housebuilders, institutional investors, landowners and developers, who she advises on all aspects of development transactions and forward funding deals. In addition to her development work, Emma advises on other aspects of commercial property including acquisitions and disposals, asset management and corporate transactions.

She studied history at the University of Nottingham and trained at Osborne Clarke, qualifying in September 2017.

I am the firm's Account Manager for M&G and Eskmuir, as well as being the lead contact for several other clients. I am also part of Osborne Clarke's "Living" group – covering everything from the traditional build-to-sell market to newer established asset classes and emerging opportunities.

I have been a trainee supervisor since March 2022. Having trained at Osborne Clarke, I am particularly passionate about attracting the best talent to the firm and supporting this future generation during their training contact as a trainee supervisor and beyond.

Advised Long Harbour and JV partners on the £260m acquisition (and associated financing) of a 495 bed build to rent development known as "The Mall, Walthamstow". Awarded the PRS Deal of the Year at the RESI Awards 2023.

Reef Group

Advised Reef Group on a £66m forward funding with UBS to deliver a pioneering life science facility to Autolus Therapeutics in Stevenage. Once built, the facility will become part of the cell and gene therapy cluster in Stevenage, which is the third largest in the world and is known as the Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst.

Taylor Wimpey

Acting on behalf of Taylor Wimpey on the pre-let of a 240,830ft warehouse in Peterborough for their timber frame operation and the purchase of "Samphire Meadow" development in Frinton-on-Sea to deliver 200+ homes.

Eskmuir

Longstanding adviser to Eskmuir across their investment portfolio. Acted on the £45m portfolio acquisition (8 assets) and disposal of Poole Trade Park for £7.7m, Nuffield Trade Park in Oxford for £20m and Wimbledon for £30m.

Barratt Metropolitan LLP

Acting on behalf of Barratt London and their JV partner, Metropolitan Housing Trust, on the regeneration of the site known as West Hendon since 2017.  The new mixed tenure housing development will deliver a total of 2,194 properties by 2027, resulting in an additional 1,553 much needed new homes 543 affordable homes (256 available for social rent and 287 available under shared equity arrangement).

Barratt Developments plc

Advising Barratt on the acquisition of Gladman Developments Limited for a total cash consideration of £250m on a debt free and cash free basis.

Dalata Hotel Group plc

Advising Dalata Hotel Group plc on the acquisition of the long leasehold interest of Apex Hotel London Wall, for consideration and a gross asset value of £53.4 million (€62.2 million) from Apex Hotels.
