Elizabeth is a consultant in our real estate practice, with more than 25 years’ experience advising on residential development and commercial real estate matters.

Having previously worked in-house as legal director at Westbury Homes, which is now part of Persimmon, she has built up considerable knowledge of the industry and is able to deliver a real commercial insight to her clients. She acts for all the UK’s major house-builders, as well as advising registered providers and numerous funds investing in residential development land. Her core expertise lies in advising on all aspects of land acquisition and development, including strategic land and options, promotion agreement work and consortium matters.

Elizabeth’s recent mandates include advising on acquisitions of corporate entities and handling strategic land work with developers on large schemes, often involving them entering into consortium arrangements.Elizabeth qualified as a lawyer in 1988 and worked in private practice before joining Westbury in 2000. She was there for six years, and moved to Osborne Clarke in 2006 as a Partner, to help develop our presence in the UK real estate market. She is also a parish councillor in the village in Gloucestershire where she lives.
