Dr Thomas Knapowski, LL.M.
Dr Thomas Knapowski advises clients on all aspects of German and European competition law and merger control.
He represents and advises national and international clients on all competition law and merger control aspects before the European Commission, the German Federal Cartel Office and before courts. He advises clients on the implementation of antitrust compliance programs and on the set up of contracts with regard to antitrust issues.
With additional expertise in programming and designing digital tools to support our legal work, Thomas is focussed to provide up-to-date solutions to legal problems.
Thomas studied law in Bonn and Auckland, New Zealand. During his doctorate and his legal traineeship, he specialised in competition law with stages at the German Federal Cartel Office in Bonn and several international and national law firms in Düsseldorf and Cologne. He joined Osborne Clarke in 2020.
