Cara advises and represents clients in the field of intellectual property and unfair competition law.

She focuses on out-of-court representation in trademark and unfair competition law, as well as in court litigation and proceedings before national and EU trademark offices. Her clients include companies in the fashion, media and comms, sports, entertainment, consumer goods and tech sectors.

Cara studied law at the Universities of Hamburg and Ljubljana, specialising in information and communications law. Following her studies, she completed an LL.M. in Law in a Digital Economy at the Católica Global School of Law in Lisbon.

During her legal clerkship at the Schleswig-Holstein Higher Regional Court, Cara worked at Osborne Clarke in Hamburg, the Federal Ministry of the Interior and Community and a commercial law firm focusing on IP, IT, data protection and life sciences. She also worked as a research assistant at an international law firm in Hamburg in the areas of IP, IT and data protection.
