Belinda has over 25 years' experience as an in-house lawyer in the recruitment and staffing sector, advising on the legal issues arising in the operation of contingent workforce supply and the provision of search and selection services, including managing risk and strategic planning for future legislative change and operational development.

She has a deep understanding of both the internal employment issues arising within recruitment businesses, as well as the day to day challenges those businesses face managing the tensions between legislative compliance and commercial imperative. Her areas of expertise include the myriad legal issues arising within contingent workforce supply chains and recruitment businesses generally, such as terms and liabilities including tax and regulatory compliance.

Belinda qualified as a lawyer in 1995 and has specialised in the recruitment sector since 1997 when she joined the recruitment sector's leading industry body, the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) as head of legal services. Following her employment with the REC Belinda has been legal director and general counsel for a range of large international and medium sized UK based recruitment businesses, supplying into the private sector in the UK and globally and into the public sector in the UK. She joined Osborne Clarke as an Associate Director in 2024.
