Aras Katiran advises clients on IT law, with a particular focus on German and European data protection law as well as data-related regulations.
Aras studied law at the University of Cologne, where he completed an additional qualification in United States law. He deepened his international focus through a practical placement at a law firm in the Greater Los Angeles area. After completing his First State Examination, Aras worked as a research associate at a leading global law firm and as a research assistant at the University of Cologne.
During his legal clerkship, he gained further experience at the German Consulate General in Toronto, an international commercial law firm and the European Commission in Brussels.
